VisitorOS release notes – April 2024

Printing Queue

Product Tier: VisitorOS Corporate, VisitorOS Enhanced & VisitorOS Enterprise

Badge printing has been optimized queuing requests in the backend. This enhances the overall user experience by ensuring the successful processing of each request, regardless of whether multiple requests are received at once (ie: bulk approval processed from approve/deny list) or if a badge is already in the printing process when a new request is made.

Exporting Device Data

Product Tier: VisitorOS Corporate, VisitorOS Enhanced & VisitorOS Enterprise

Users with device management permission can now export device data into a CSV file from the VisitorOS Devices page. This added functionality provides further flexibility in how to work with and analyze device data outside of VisitorOS.

Media Player Update

Product Tier: VisitorOS Corporate, VisitorOS Enhanced & VisitorOS Enterprise

The media player used in the VisitorOS sign-in process has been updated to help further ensure adherence to compliance requirements. With this update, users are now able to prevent visitors from skipping videos by hiding the scroll bar when using touchless sign-in and pre-registration. Systems can still be configured to allow opt-outs, in which case a button will be present during sign-in which can be used by the visitor to skip the video.
