Assign tasks to an existing vendor

You can assign additional tasks to vendors after adding them in ContractorOS.

Who can use this feature?

  • Users with the Account Administrator or Site Administrator role
  • Available on all tiers

Assign tasks to a vendor

  1. From the left sidebar in ContractorOS, click Manage, then select Vendors.

  2. Select the vendor you want to assign tasks to.
  3. Click Assign Task to open the task assignment window.
  4. In the Vendor tab, select the tasks you want to assign to the vendor.

  5. Click Next.
  6. In "Document Notification", follow the instructions for your ContractorOS tier:
    • Advanced tier: ContractorOS automatically sends a notification to the vendor letting them know new tasks are assigned. Click Next to continue.
    • Essentials tier: (Optional) If you do not want to email the vendor to request the required documents, turn off Send email to vendor to request selected documents, then click Next.
  7. Click Done.
