Send or resend invitations to Contractors

You can send invitation emails to Contractors so they can create Vendor Portal accounts, or resend invitations to Contractors who have not yet accepted them.

Who can use this feature?

  • Vendors with a Vendor Portal account

Send or resend an invitation

  1. From the left sidebar in the Vendor Portal, click Manage, then select Contractors.

  2. Each Contractor will have one of the invitation statuses listed below. Select the Contractor you want to invite or resend an invitation to.
    • Sent: An invitation has already been sent.
    • Not Sent: An invitation has not been sent.
    • Accepted: The invitation has been accepted. You cannot send a new invitation.
  3. Click Edit Contractor.
  4. Click Send or Resend Invitation.

Send or resend an invitation to a different email address

Note:

You cannot change the email address of a Contractor who has accepted their invitation.

  1. From the left sidebar in the Vendor Portal, click Manage, then select Contractors.

  2. Select the Contractor whose email address you want to update.
  3. Click Edit Contractor.
  4. In the "Contact Information" section, update the Contractor's Email.

    Note:

    If you clear the checkbox, "When email changes are saved, resend Portal Invitation", you will need to resend the invitation email later.

  5. Click Save.
