Beacon turns VisitorOS activity into insights you can use to understand what is happening at your sites and spot trends over time.
If you want to ask questions about trends across your sites, make sure Beacon Data Insights is turned on. To learn how, see Turn on Beacon data insights.
Use Beacon
You can use Beacon from FacilityOS or any module, including VisitorOS, EmergencyOS, ContractorOS, and SecurityOS.
Ask a question
- From the left sidebar in FacilityOS or any module, select Beacon.

Enter your question in the prompt and submit it to receive an answer. For examples of questions you can ask, see Example questions to try.

Your chat history is cleared when you log out.
Submit a support ticket
If you need additional assistance, Beacon lets you submit a support ticket that includes your most recent chat.
- In your most recent chat with Beacon, select the three vertical dots
icon.
- Select Submit Support Ticket.
- In Add a note, include issues you experienced with Beacon's response and what you need help with.
- Select Submit Ticket. A support agent will reach out to you shortly.

Beacon AI accesses your data only if an account administrator enables Beacon Data Insights. When enabled, all collected information remains anonymous and no personal details are gathered.
