What is my role?

All users have either default roles or custom roles that are assigned to them, granting permission to specific features. This article describes the steps required to view what role a user has.

Who can use this feature?

  • Account Administrators or any user with permission to manage Users
  • Available on all tiers

Note:

If you cannot follow the steps below, you will need to contact your account administrator.

View a user's role

  1. A user's role can change depending on the module. To check their role, open the specific module. For more information, see Access FacilityOS modules.
  2. From the left sidebar, click the Settings Screenshot of the settings icon. icon, then select Users.

  3. Find the user in the table and check their role in the Role column.

    Note:

    If you do not see the role column, click the Grid Settings grid_settings.png icon, then turn on the Role column.
