You can add a vendor in ContractorOS to track their tasks and ensure they are compliant to work at your site.
Who can use this feature?
Add a vendor
- From the left sidebar in ContractorOS, click Manage, then select Vendors.
- Click Add Vendor to open the "Vendor Details" window .
- Enter the name of the company in Company Name.
- (Optional) Enter the phone number of the person who is responsible for the business in Phone Number.
- Enter the name and email address of the person who is responsible for the business in Contact Name and Email, then click Next.
- On the "Select Sites" step, select the sites the vendor will be working at, then click Next.
- On the "Assign Tasks" step, select the tasks the vendor must complete to be compliant at your site.
- Select the Contractor tab, then choose the tasks for contractors. These will be the tasks available when adding a contractor.
- Click Next.
- In the "Document Notification" step, follow the instructions for your ContractorOS tier:
- Advanced tier: ContractorOS automatically sends an invitation to the vendor to sign up for a Vendor Portal account. Click Next to continue.
- Essentials tier: (Optional) If you do not want to email the vendor to request the required documents, turn off Send email to vendor to request selected documents, then click Next.
- Click Done.
What to do next
