Add vendors in ContractorOS so that you can assign tasks and contractors. This helps confirm that vendors and their contractors have the required documents before working at your site.

Add a vendor
- In the left sidebar of ContractorOS, select Manage, and then select Vendors.
- Select Add Vendor.
- On the Vendor Details step, enter the vendor’s Company Name, Phone Number, Contact Name, and Email.
- Select Next.
- On the Select Sites step, choose one or more sites to assign to the vendor, and then select Next.
- For the Assign Tasks step, on the Vendor tab, select the documents the vendor must provide to be compliant on your site.
If you are on the Essentials tier, you can decide if you want to request documents from the vendor by email, which you will find above the Vendor tab. If you already have the required documents, turn off Send email to vendor to request selected documents. If you do not have the required documents, leave this option turned on.
Note:
On the Advanced tier, adding a vendor sends them an email to create a ContractorOS account. After the vendor accepts the invitation, they can use the ContractorOS Vendor portal to complete tasks for themselves and their contractors.
- Select the Contractor tab, and choose the documents contractors must provide. These become the default task requirements for contractors working for this vendor.
- Select Next to add the vendor.
