We are pleased to announce the following new and improved features in our February 2026 release!
Honeywell Pro-Watch access card activation from VisitorOS kiosk
| Required tier | Available as a paid integration to all customers using SecurityOS Corporate with VisitorOS |
SecurityOS now integrates with Honeywell ProWatch to automatically activate and deactivate visitor access cards based on VisitorOS kiosk sign-in and sign-out.
Frequent site visitors and contractors who use Honeywell ProWatch cards must now complete kiosk sign-in to activate their card. When they sign out, or are auto-signed-out, their card is automatically deactivated. This closes a major security gap by ensuring only properly signed-in contractors can access the facility.
Key updates include:
- Automatic card activation when a contractor completes kiosk sign-in
- Automatic card deactivation on sign-out or auto-sign-out
- Real-time enforcement of access tied directly to on-site presence
- Clear audit trail linking contractor access to VisitorOS activity
Key benefits
- Stronger security: Prevents visitors and contractors from accessing the facility without signing in
- Reduced risk: Eliminates lingering active badges after contractors leave
- Better compliance: Creates a clear, auditable record of who had access and when
- Less manual work: Removes the need for security teams to manually enable and disable badges
Pre-registration watchlist hold
| Required tier | Available to customers who use VisitorOS watchlists, have pre-registration, and also have SecurityOS. |
Visitors who trigger a watchlist hit during pre-registration will no longer receive access credentials automatically. Instead, those visitors are held for review until a host or authorized user explicitly approves them. Only after approval will a QR code credential be issued.
This closes a security gap where visitors flagged by a watchlist hit were receiving access credentials by default.
