You can adjust Smart Scanner's camera settings to match your preferences.
Camera settings
To open camera settings, on the app’s main screen select the three vertical dots icon, then select Settings..
The following settings can be adjusted:
- Manual Photo Mode: Lets you take a photo manually instead of automatically capturing the label after it is detected.
- Auto Capture Speed: Controls how long Smart Scanner waits after detecting a label before taking a photo. You can select a value from 0.5 to 1.5 seconds. The default is 0.75 seconds.
- Confidence Level: Controls how certain Smart Scanner must be that it has detected a label before accepting the capture. The available levels are Low (25%), Medium (50%), High (75%), and Very High (90%). High is selected by default. Select a higher level if labels are being captured incorrectly, or select a lower level if capturing takes too long.
- Image Quality: Controls the quality and file size of captured label images. Select Standard for smaller uploads or High detail for clearer images with larger file sizes.
