We are pleased to announce the following new functionality in our July 2026 release!
Archive Compliance Documents
Who is this for?
Admins can now archive compliance documents to retire outdated requirements without deleting historical records. Archived documents remain available in the Document Library for audit purposes but are removed from the pool of assignable compliance requirements. Existing tasks linked to archived documents are retained for historical reference but no longer impact compliance calculations.
How it works
- Archive compliance documents directly from the Document Library instead of deleting them.
- Archived documents remain searchable and clearly labeled for audit and historical reference.
- Archived documents cannot be assigned as new compliance requirements.
- Existing vendor and contractor tasks tied to archived documents remain visible and retain their history, but are excluded from compliance status and document counts.
- Archived tasks remain viewable and can be deleted if no longer needed.

New Read-Only User Role
Who is this for?
ContractorOS now includes a new Read-Only User role that provides visibility into compliance status, metrics, vendors, contractors, and task lists without allowing users to make changes. This helps organizations safely extend access to stakeholders who need information but don't require operational control.
How it works
- Admins can assign the new Read-Only User role to users from the User Management section.
- Read-only users can:
- View dashboard compliance metrics and site-level compliance data
- View vendor and contractor profiles
- View task lists and compliance information
- Read-only users cannot:
- Create, edit, assign, submit, or delete records
- Add vendors or contractors
- Assign compliance task
- Send bulk reminders
- Access Settings or Beacon
- Modify compliance configurations
- Permissions are enforced both in the user interface and behind the scenes to prevent unauthorized actions.

New Vendor & Contractor Fields
Who is this for?
ContractorOS now supports optional Vendor Number, Contractor Number, and Type of Service fields. These fields can be added to vendor and contractor profiles, displayed in key list views and dashboards, and included in export files to support customer-specific identifiers and service categorization.
How it works
- Admins can optionally add:
- Vendor Number and Type of Service to vendor profiles
- Contractor Number and Type of Service to contractor profiles
- The new fields appear within the Contact Information section of vendor and contractor records.
- New columns have been added to key ContractorOS views:
- Vendor Number is available in vendor lists and dashboard views.
- Type of Service is available in contractor lists and dashboard views.
- Vendor and contractor exports now include these new fields automatically.
- All fields are optional and can be left blank if not required.
Note:
If you're interested in enabling these custom vendor and contractor fields for your organization, please contact your Customer Success Manager.
