Manually log a mustering event

If your site conducted an emergency or drill outside of EmergencyOS, you can log it as a mustering event to keep your records up to date.

Who can use this feature?

  • Users with the Account Administrator, Site Administrator, or Safety Officer role, or any user with permission to manage Active Evacuation
  • Available on all tiers

Log a mustering event

  1. From the left sidebar in EmergencyOS, select Mustering.
  2. Click Log Event.

  3. In the "Event Data" section, enter the information for the event.
  4. Click Save.
  5. (Optional) After you have saved the event, follow the steps below to upload any supporting documents. For example, you can include a list of evacuees who took part in the event.
    • In the "Files" section, click Attach Files.

    • In the "Upload Files" modal, upload one or more documents, then click Save.

Mustering event data fields

You can fill in the following data fields when logging a mustering event:

  • Site: Select the name of the site where the event took place.
  • Start Date: Choose the date on which the event took place.
  • End Date: Choose the date on which the event ended.
  • Start Time: Enter the time when the event started.
  • End Time: Enter the time when the event ended.
  • Nature of Emergency: Select the type of situation addressed by the event. Select "Other" to enter a custom situation.
  • Type of Event: Select whether the event was an emergency or a drill.
  • Started by: (Optional) Select the name of the person who started the event. The person must be a user in EmergencyOS.
  • Stopped by: (Optional) Select the name of the person who ended the event. The person must be a user in EmergencyOS.
  • Safety Officer: (Optional) Enter the name of the Safety Officer who was responsible for the event.
  • Total Number of Evacuees: (Optional) Enter the total number of people who participated in the event.
  • Targeted Time (min): (Optional) Enter the target amount of time, in minutes, for everyone to evacuate.
  • Not Checked: (Optional) Enter the number of evacuees whose whereabouts were unknown during the evacuation.
  • Exceeded Target: (Optional) Enter the number of evacuees who took longer than the targeted time to evacuate the site.
