A three-step emergency response journey
During an emergency, delayed messages and unclear instructions can make it difficult to move everyone to safety. EmergencyOS Basic provides a clear workflow for preparing your site, starting a response, notifying employees and visitors, and keeping a record of what happened.
Prepare
Set up your emergency profile
Every response starts with a plan. Each site on the Basic tier includes one emergency profile that you can use to help evacuate employees and visitors to a safe location during an emergency or drill. Emergency profiles can be customized to include unique start and end messages.
Respond
Start an emergency
When an incident occurs, you can start an emergency from the Dashboard or an on-site iPad. This activates the emergency profile and sends notifications.
When an emergency starts, everyone on your employee list and all signed-in visitors receive an email directing them to the designated evacuation location.
Review
Keep your emergency records current
After an emergency ends, the Mustering Events page displays a history of your emergencies. You can also manually log an emergency or drill conducted outside of EmergencyOS to keep your records up to date.
