You can set up sign-out reminders for your site. These reminders help visitors who forget to sign out. They can also notify hosts when a visitor is still signed in. Each notification includes a link for visitors to sign out or for hosts to sign them out.

Set up sign-out reminders
- From the left sidebar in VisitorOS, click the Settings
icon, then select Sites.
- Select the site you want to update.
- Click Notifications.
- Turn on Sign-Out Reminder to open its settings panel. If the setting is already on, click Configure.
- Turn on Email.

Optionally, to turn on SMS reminders, contact your customer success representative or the FacilityOS support team.
Important:
For SMS notifications to be sent, make sure of the following:
For hosts, make sure their phone number is entered in "Mobile Number (for SMS Notifications)" in the address book. For more information, see Edit host details.
For visitors, make sure the "Phone Number" data field is enabled so they can enter their phone number. If you will only be using SMS, make sure the data field is also mandatory so it cannot be skipped. For more information, see Manage data fields.

From the Notify After drop-down menu, select how long after a visitor signs in the reminder is sent. You can select multiple time increments.
Note:
Hosts or visitors may not receive reminders if visitor auto sign-out is enabled for your site. Depending on how the setting is configured, a visitor may be signed out automatically before a reminder is triggered. For more information, see Set up auto sign-out.

Click Save.
Note:
If you do not see sign-out reminder emails in your inbox, make sure to check your junk or spam folders.
