Learn how to set up your Epson C4000u printer and connect it to your network. After you connect it to the network, you will be able to obtain the printer's IP address.
What is in the box
When you receive the box containing the printer the following items will be included:
- 1 Epson C4000u color printer
- 1 starter pack of ink cartridges inserted into the printer
- 1 full set of ink cartridges
- 1 roll of 4x3 labels
- 1 AC Adapter
- 1 AC cable connector
- 1 Wireless LAN Unit (if a wireless setup was requested)
If any items are missing, contact your customer success representative or the FacilityOS support team.

Connect the printer to your network
To connect the printer to your network, choose one of the two following methods:

To connect the printer via ethernet, see Epson's instructions, Connecting to Wired LAN.
Note:
We recommend connecting via ethernet for the most reliable connection.
- To connect the printer via Wi-Fi, plug the optional Wireless LAN Unit into the USB port on the back of the printer. Then use one of the Epson resources below to connect via Wi-Fi:
Obtain the IP address
After connecting the printer to your network, you will need the IP address to connect the printer to VisitorOS and your kiosk.
- Press the arrow keys
on the printer to highlight the Network Connection Settings
icon and press OK.
- Highlight Router and press OK.
- Go to IP Address to view the printer's IP address.
