Document History Enhancements

Product Tier: Available to all ContractorOS customers.

This update enhances the Document History with two new statuses, expanded tracking of site admin actions, and improved user identifiers.

New Statuses

  • Submitted - Indicates a document has been submitted to the site admin and is ready for review.
  • Draft Saved - Indicates a document has been saved as a draft by a vendor and contractor.
    • Note: This status only appears in the Vendor Portal.

Expanded Tracking

Actions taken by site admins when uploading or editing documents on behalf of vendors or contractors are now logged in the document history.

Improved user identifiers

The Document History now shows the user’s name and their applicable site(s), instead of just their email address.

Key Benefits:

  • Better Status Visibility: See when a document is in draft or ready for review, helping admins prioritize follow-ups.
  • Full Audit Trail: Track site admin actions alongside vendor and contractor actions for a complete history.
  • Greater Transparency: Everyone can see exactly who made changes and where, with clear usernames and site details.
