Review pre-registration
- From the left sidebar in VisitorOS, click Events.
- Select an event.
- In the "Event Guests" panel, find a guest with the "Pre-registration Pending Approval" status.
- Next to the guest, click the three vertical dots
icon, then select Pre-registration details.
-
Review the guest’s Pre-registration Details and whether they completed their required tasks, such as signing or uploading documents.
Note:
To review uploaded documents, you must download them. Under "Legal Documents", select a file name to download the file.
- Under "Approve or Deny Guest", select Approve or Deny.
- In the Type in reason field, enter why you chose to approve or deny the guest. This is required if you chose to deny the guest.
- Click Save.
- If you selected Approve and pre-registration is mandatory for your site, the guest will receive their event QR code via email or SMS.
-
If you selected Deny and pre-registration is mandatory for your site, the guest will not receive their event QR code.
Note:
If pre-registration is NOT mandatory, guests will have a QR code that they can use to sign in, even if they are denied. When this happens, the Dashboard shows them as a denied visitor who signed in. To prevent this, your admin can turn on any of the following settings:
Turn on "Pre-Registration is Mandatory". For more information, see Change pre-registration settings.
Hosts or security officers can be required to approve all sign-ins when a QR code is scanned. Turn on approval required for "Pre-registered Visitors". For more information, see Change visitor approval settings.
