The status history keeps a full record of every status change for a guest that was added to an event. Each entry lists the status, the time it was changed, who made the change, and any notes.
| Required tier | Corporate, Enhanced, or Enterprise tier. What is my tier? |
| Required permission | Manage events. This permission is included by default for the Account Administrator, Site Administrator, and Host roles. What is my role? |
View a guest's status history
- From the left sidebar in VisitorOS, select Events.
- Select an event.
- In the Event Guests panel, select the three vertical dots
icon for a guest.
- Select Status History to see all status changes that have occurred.
Understand guest statuses
The table below lists all statuses you might see for guests and what each status means.
| Status | Meaning |
| Pending screening | The guest is being checked against your watchlists. |
| Invitation pending approval | The host or security officer must approve the guest before an invitation to the event is sent. |
| Pre-registration incomplete | The guest received the invitation to the event but has not completed pre-registration. |
| Pre-registration pending approval | The host or security officer needs to review the guest’s pre-registration. |
| Approved | The host or security officer approved the guest's pre-registration. |
| Denied | The host or security officer denied sending the event invitation to the guest or denied the guest’s pre-registration. |
| Pre-registration completed | The guest completed their pre-registration. This status appears only when approval by the host or security officer is not required. |
