When parcels are scanned, AI Receiving Assistant helps by automatically reading the shipping label and entering the details into the parcel record in LogisticsOS for later sorting and routing. AI Receiving Assistant does this by:
- Capturing clear label images during scanning.
- Extracting label fields, such as recipient name, tracking number, and carrier, using AI-powered optical character recognition (OCR).
- Matching the recipient to your existing directory or database.
- Supporting all carrier label formats, such as USPS, FedEx, and UPS.
This allows receiving teams to process hundreds or even thousands of packages a day.

- AI processes the OCR-extracted text and images as soon as a photo of the label is captured. This streamlines the sorting process when staff members are ready to sort packages.
Sort and route with confidence
Review on the web in a full-screen view to confirm OCR results, make changes, and verify recipient details.
Decide what happens next once details are confirmed, such as assigning a route, selecting a locker workflow, or flagging an exception for follow-up.
