You can choose whether visitors must take a photo during sign-in, and configure related photo options.
Who can use this feature?
Change visitor photo settings
- From the left sidebar in VisitorOS, click the Settings
icon, then select Sites.
- Select a site.
- Click Features.
- If Visitor Photos is off, turn it on.
- Under "Visitor Photos", click Configure.
- Make any changes to the following settings:
- Photo Capture is Optional: If turned on, visitors can skip taking a photo during sign-in.
- Photos May be Retaken: If turned on, visitors can retake their photo.
- Countdown Duration: The number of seconds before a photo is taken of the visitor.
- Limit to Specific Visitor Types: The visitor types that will be asked to take a photo. If this setting is off, all visitor types will be asked to take a photo.
- Click Save.
Troubleshoot upside down photos appearing in VisitorOS
If visitor photos appear upside down in the VisitorOS platform, follow the steps below to resolve the issue.
- On the iPad, swipe down from the top-right corner of your screen to open the Control Center. If you cannot open the Control Center, disable Guided Access, then try again. For more information, see Pause or end a Guided Access session.
- Tap the Rotation Lock
button, so that it is off, then swipe up to close the Control Center.
- Turn the iPad to its other side.
- Open the Control Center again, and tap the Rotation Lock button so that it is on.
