Manually run a watchlist check

Before signing in a visitor, you can manually check whether they match a watchlist member.

Required tier Enterprise tier. Enhanced and Corporate tiers require the Watchlist add-on. What is my tier?
Required permission Watchlists. This permission is included by default for the account administrator role. What is my role?

Run a manual check

  1. From the left sidebar in VisitorOS, select Manage.
  2. Select Watchlist.

  3. In the upper-right corner, select Manual Check.
  4. In the "Manual Check" panel, enter the visitor’s details.
  5. Select Start Check
  6. After the check is complete, the following information can be reviewed:

    • The watchlists that were checked.
    • Whether a match was found. A match is labeled "Hit". No match is labeled "No hit".

      Note:

      A "Hit" does not always mean the visitor is denied entry. If a watchlist is configured to approve visitors, it will also show a "Hit".

    • If the watchlist can approve or deny the visitor, "Status" shows whether the visitor is approved or denied entry.
