Set expiry dates for employee passes

You can set expiry dates for employee passes to prevent staff members from signing in.

Required tier Enterprise tier. The employee sign-in pass add-on is required if you are on the Corporate or Enhanced tier. What is my tier?
Required permission Manage address book. This permission is included by default for the account administrator and site administrator roles. What is my role?

Set an expiry date

  1. From the left sidebar in VisitorOS, click Manage, then select Address Book.

  2. Select the employee whose pass you want to update.
  3. Click Credentials.
  4. In the Expiration Date field, select the date when the pass will expire.
  5. Optionally, if you do not want the employee to use the pass until a certain date, in the Start Date field, select that date.
  6. Click Save.

    Important:

    If you had previously emailed or exported the employee pass, you will need to do so again so that the expiry date is included. To learn how, see Issue employee passes.
