Set expiry dates for employee passes

You can set expiry dates for employee passes to prevent staff members from signing in.

Required tier Enterprise tier. The employee sign-in pass add-on is required if you are on the Corporate or Enhanced tier. What is my tier?
Required permission Manage address book. This permission is included by default for the account administrator and site administrator roles. What is my role?

Before you start

Make sure the staff member is added as a host in the address book. To learn how, see Add hosts to the address book.

Set an expiry date

  1. From the left sidebar in VisitorOS, click Manage, then select Address Book.

  2. Select the staff member whose employee pass you want to update.
  3. Click Credentials.
  4. In the Expiration Date field, select the date on which the staff member can no longer sign in with their employee pass.
  5. Optionally, if you want the staff member to start using the employee pass on a specific date, in the Start Date field, select a date.
  6. Click Save.
