When parcels arrive at your site, you can mark them as having been received.
Select the tab for the LogisticsOS application you are using.
Receive parcels using the LogisticsOS Web Portal
- From the left sidebar in the LogisticsOS Web Portal, click Dashboard.
- Click Receive.
- In Status, select Received.
- Scan the barcode of the parcel or enter its tracking number in Scanned Parcels.
- (Optional) In Package Condition, select an option to record the parcel’s condition.
- Click Add.
- (Optional) Click Capture Photo to add a photo of the parcel.
- Repeat steps 4 to 7 for each additional parcel.
- After all parcels are added, click Submit.
Receive parcels using the LogisticsOS Desktop Client
- From the top bar in the LogisticsOS Desktop Client, select the Receive and Verify tab.
- In Status, select Received.
- Scan the barcode of the parcel or enter its tracking number in Item, then press the enter key on your keyboard. Repeat this step for each additional parcel.

Under "Currently Scanned Items", review the parcels and make any changes to the carrier or status information
Note:
If the carrier is not automatically identified or listed on your account, you can add a custom carrier and then select it from the list of carriers.
- After all parcels are added, click Submit.
Add a custom carrier
- In the LogisticsOS Desktop Client, from the top bar, select the Receive and Verify tab.
- Select the Custom Carrier checkbox.
- Hover over the drop-down menu and double-click the Add icon.

Enter the carrier's code and name, then click OK.
Note:
The carrier code is a two- to four-letter code used to identify the carrier. If you are not sure what the code is, you can look it up using any online SCAC code directory.
Receive parcels using the Smart Scanner app
- Open the LogisticsOS Smart Scanner app.

Point your camera at the parcel label to capture the barcode automatically.
Tip:
If the app does not capture the barcode, try adjusting your camera settings. For more information, see Change camera settings for the Smart Scanner app.
- If multiple barcodes are detected, select the white circle icon on the barcode you want to use.
- When you are finished scanning all parcels, select Scanned Parcels.
- Tap Sign.
- Draw your signature.
- Tap Save.
- After all parcels are scanned, tap Submit.
