You can sync your Microsoft Entra ID directory with the FacilityOS Address Book to keep it automatically up to date.
Before you start
Read the following prerequisites before integrating the Address Book with Microsoft Entra ID:
- Make sure you have a Microsoft Entra ID Global Administrator account.
- Review the Security and confidentiality of data section.
- If your Address Book already contains Hosts that were added manually, syncing with Microsoft Entra ID will not update their information. To ensure Host details are updated automatically, delete any manually added Hosts. To learn how, see Delete a Host.
Integrate the Address Book with Microsoft Entra ID
- Contact your Customer Success Manager to request the Address Book sync integration with Microsoft Entra ID.
- After your request is processed, you will receive an integration URL. Open the URL.
- Sign in with your Microsoft Entra ID credentials.
- Review and approve the requested permissions. In your Microsoft Entra admin center, an enterprise application named "FacilityOS Entra ID" is added.
- You will need to create a security group in Entra ID for each site in FacilityOS. To learn how to create groups in Entra ID, see Create a basic group and add members.
- After creating your groups, send your Customer Success Manager the group names and the sites they belong to so they can complete the integration.
Verify the sync in FacilityOS
- In FacilityOS, from the left sidebar, click Manage, then select Address Book.
- Successfully synced employees have a lock
icon.

Select an employee to view details such as name, email address, phone number, and site assignment.
Important:
To edit an employee's details, make the changes in Microsoft Entra ID.
