Mass Notifications: Compose and Send Messages

Who can use this feature?

This feature is for EHS, Security, Operations, and Facility teams who need to message people at a site quickly, without starting an emergency or a or requiring a roll call. Typical messages include closures, outages, hazards and weather notices.
Included in the EmergencyOS Corporate tier

EmergencyOS now includes a Mass Notifications workflow. Approved users can send a targeted email and SMS message to people at one site without opening an Emergency Profile or starting a mustering event. A new Mass Notifications page holds the compose experience and a log of every message sent.

Key benefits:

Message people without starting an emergency: Closures, outages, hazards and weather notices go out without starting a roll call. There is no emergency profile to set up first. Write the message, pick the audience and send, without editing, saving and launching an emergency profile.
Reach the right people at the site: Target employees who are on site, offsite employees, visitors, tags, roles or named contacts.
Email and SMS from one screen: Send messages via email or SMS or both from one screen.
A record of every message: The log shows who sent what, to whom, when and on which channels.
One message per person: People in more than one selected group receive a single message.
Confidence before sending: A test message to yourself shows exactly what recipients will get.
