This guide explains what Hosts can view and manage in VisitorOS.
About the Host role
The term "Host" can refer to the default role for users added to VisitorOS or to employees listed in the address book. If an employee is only in the address book, they cannot access the VisitorOS module. They can only be selected as the host for an event or when a visitor signs in. For the purposes of this article, "Host" will only refer to users who can sign in to VisitorOS.
By default, Hosts have access to the following permissions:
- Events (Managed/My Events): View and manage events where the user is the host.
- Visitor Log: View historical record of their visitors.
