Visitor Screening (powered by Checkr Trust)
Product Tier: Available as a paid add-on for VisitorOS Corporate and Enhanced customers and included for VisitorOS Enterprise customers.
VisitorOS now integrates with Checkr Trust, a leading background data provider, to automatically flag potential risks during visitor screening. Key features of this integration include:
- Checkr Trust can be enabled directly through the FacilityOS Integrations page.
- Screen against US criminal databases, US sex offender lists, and global watchlists.
- Flexibility to leverage pre-built industry-specific rulesets or request a custom configuration.
- Leverage all existing Watchlist triggers, notifications, and review workflows.
Pre-Built Rulesets
- Healthcare: Focuses on felony convictions within the past 7 years that impact trust, care, and patient safety, including abuse, sex offenses, and violent crimes. Designed for hospitals, clinics, and long-term care facilities.
- Education: Targets felony convictions within the past 7 years related to violence, sexual misconduct, and abuse to protect minors and students. Ideal for schools, universities, and childcare environments.
- Manufacturing & Industrial: Covers felony convictions within the past 10 years, including violent, drug-related, and property crimes. Suitable for facilities where physical safety and asset protection are key.
- Government & Defense: Reviews felony convictions within the past 20 years across serious offenses such as national security threats, fraud, and violence. Best for government sites, defense contractors, and high-security environments.
- All Convictions: Applies the broadest screening criteria across all conviction types for maximum oversight and risk mitigation.

Pre-Registration Approval
Product Tier: Available to all customers with both Visitor Approval and Pre-Registration add-ons.
The Visitor Approval add-on has been improved so that it now works at the pre-registration stage. Security teams can now approve or deny a visitor before they arrive on-site, and visitors will only receive their pre-registration QR code if their pre-registration is approved.
The following design changes have been made to improve registration administration:
- Pre-Registration Pending Approval status has been added.
- Pre-Registration Status and Approval Status columns in the guest list table have been merged into a single
Status field.
Key Benefits
- Stronger Compliance Controls: Sites can now view key pre-registration details — including screening results, document completion status (signed, skipped, or declined), and other registration information — before a visitor arrives on-site, ensuring approvals happen at the right stage.
- Reduced Security Risks: Visitors will only receive a pre-registration QR code once they have been approved, preventing confusion and unauthorized access attempts.
- Actionable Visibility: Guests pending approvals are highlighted in orange, making it easy for sites to track who is cleared and who still requires review.

Guest Status History
Product Tier: Available to all VisitorOS customers.
VisitorOS now includes a Status History view for every event guest, providing a complete audit log of all status changes. Each status log entry shows the status, timestamp, user who made the change, and any related notes, helping teams quickly understand past actions and maintain accurate records.
