Sign in new visitors from the dashboard

When a new visitor who is not scheduled for an event arrives at your site, you can sign them in from the VisitorOS dashboard. This allows you to enter the required information on their behalf instead of asking the visitor to sign in themselves.

Required tier Corporate, Enhanced, or Enterprise tier. What is my tier?
Required permission Visitor sign-in/sign-out. This permission is included by default for account administrator and site administrator roles. What is my role?

Sign in a visitor

  1. In the left sidebar of VisitorOS, click Dashboard.
  2. Click Sign-In Visitor.

  3. From the Site drop-down menu, select where the visitor is signing in.
  4. From the Visitor Type drop-down menu, select which type of visitor the person is.
  5. In the Host search bar, type the name of the host the visitor is meeting, then select their name.
  6. If the host should receive a notification, turn on Notify host.
  7. Under Visitor Information, complete the required fields. The fields displayed depend on your organization’s configuration.
  8. In Notes (internal), enter notes that are only available to you and users who can manage all events.
  9. Click Sign-In.
