Use Arrival Assist for walk-in visitors

You can sign in visitors who are not scheduled for an event by entering their information from the VisitorOS dashboard. The visitor then completes the remaining steps at the kiosk, such as reviewing documents, scanning an ID, or completing other required sign-in tasks.

Required tier Enterprise tier. Enhanced and Corporate tiers require the Arrival Assist add-on. What is my tier?
Required permission Visitor sign-in and sign-out. This permission is included by default for Account Administrator and Site Administrator roles. What is my role?

Arrival assist for walk-in visitors

  1. From the left sidebar in VisitorOS, select Dashboard.
  2. Select Sign-In Visitor.

  3. Select the Site where the visitor is signing in.
  4. Select the Visitor type.
  5. Select the Host the visitor is meeting.
  6. If the host should receive a notification, turn on Notify host.
  7. Complete the fields in Visitor Information. The available fields depend on your organization’s configuration.
  8. Under Arrival Assist, select one of the following options:
    • Select Finish & Print badge to sign in the visitor and print their badge.
    • Select Transfer to Kiosk if the visitor must complete tasks at the kiosk (e.g., scan their ID or review documents).
  9. Under Available Devices, select a kiosk.
  10. In Notes (Internal), add any optional internal notes. These notes can be reviewed or edited during or after the visit.
  11. Select Sign-In.

Resend sign in to the kiosk

If the sign-in process is interrupted on the kiosk, you can resend it so the visitor can try again.

  1. From the left sidebar in VisitorOS, select Dashboard.
  2. Select the Pending Sign-Ins tab.
  3. Find the visitor and select the Start session icon.
  4. Select the kiosk the visitor will use to sign in.
  5. Select Resend.
