Obtain a new activation code for your iPad

If you need to factory reset your iPad, you first need to obtain a new activation code. The code is used to reconnect your iPad to VisitorOS after you factory reset it.

Required tier Corporate, Enhanced, or Enterprise tier. What is my tier?
Required permission Manage devices. This permission is included by default for the account administrator and site administrator roles. What is my role?

Obtain a new activation code

  1. From the left sidebar in VisitorOS, click Manage, then select Devices.

  2. Select the iPad you want to reset.
  3. In "Device Settings", click Reset Device.
  4. To confirm, click Yes, reset it.
  5. Note down the activation code that is displayed, then click Ok.
  6. In "Device Settings", turn on Device is Active.

  7. Click Save.
