Change sign-in settings

You can change sign-in settings to allow visitors to sign in through their web browser, require sign-ins to be completed on the iPad when Touchless Sign-In is enabled, and adjust how long the sign-in completion screen appears.

Who can use this feature?

  • Users with the Account Administrator or Site Administrator role, or any user with permission to manage Sites
  • Available on all tiers

Change sign-in settings

  1. From the left sidebar in VisitorOS, click the Settings icon, then select Sites.

  2. Select the site you want to change sign-in settings for.
  3. Select the Features tab.
  4. Under "Sign-In", click Configure.

    Important:

    If you do not see "Sign-In", you do not have access to advanced settings. To request access, contact your customer success representative or the FacilityOS support team.

  5. Configure any of the following settings:
    • Sign-In on Web Browser: Turn on to allow visitors to sign in via the web browser.
    • Kiosk Is Required to Complete Sign-In: If you have Touchless Sign-In enabled, you can turn on this option to require visitors to complete sign-in on the iPad.

      Tip:

      If visitor photos are enabled, turn this option on if you want the iPad to capture the visitor's photo. If this option is turned off, the visitor must upload a photo from their mobile device.

    • Session-End Interval (Seconds): Controls how long the "Signed In" screen is displayed after a visitor completes sign-in on the iPad.
  6. Click Save.
