You can factory reset your kiosk (iPad) to install the latest iOS updates from Apple, update the VisitorOS app to the latest version from FacilityOS, and make sure the kiosk is connected to the correct site.

Obtain your activation code
Before you reset your iPad, obtain a new activation code. You will use this code to reconnect the iPad to VisitorOS after the reset is complete.
- From the left sidebar in VisitorOS, click Manage, then select Devices.
- Select the iPad you want to reset.
- In "Device Settings", click Reset Device.
- To confirm, click Yes, reset it.
- Copy the activation code that is displayed, then click Ok.
- In "Device Settings", turn on Device is Active.
- Click Save.
Factory reset your iPad
After you obtain your activation code, factory reset the iPad. For more information, see Apple's article How to factory reset your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch.
Re-connect your iPad to VisitorOS
- After the factory reset is complete, follow the on-screen instructions to set your language and region.
- On the "Quick Start" screen, tap Set Up Without Another Device.
- Follow the on-screen instructions to connect to Wi-Fi.
- On the "Remote Management" screen, tap Enroll This iPad.
- On the "Location Services" screen, tap Enable Location Services.
- When setup is complete, open the VisitorOS app, then tap on the welcome screen.
- Tap Use a code.
- Enter the activation code you copied in step 5 of Obtain your activation code.
- If you use a printer via Bluetooth, pair the printer with your iPad. For more information, see Apple's article, Pair a Bluetooth accessory.
