You can set up your site’s pre-registration to allow guests to fill in their information before they arrive at your site, allowing them to sign in faster.

Access pre-registration settings
- From the left sidebar in VisitorOS, select the Settings
icon.
- Select Sites, and then select a site.
- Select Features.
- Under Pre-Registration, select Configure to open its settings panel.
Pre-registration settings
After you open the pre-registration settings panel, use the options below to control whether guests must complete pre-registration and when they receive pre-registration invitations.
Send pre-registration invitations
You can turn pre-registration on or off and set whether it is required before guests sign in.
- Turn on Send Pre-Registration Invitations to allow guests to complete pre-registration when they receive an event invitation.
- Turn on Pre-Registration is Mandatory to make pre-registration required for guests. Guests will receive their event QR code only after completing pre-registration.
Customize when pre-registration invitations are sent
If pre-registration is turned on, under Pre-Registration Invitations, choose when invitations are sent.
- Select Immediately Upon Adding the Guest to the Event to send the invitation as soon as the guest is added to the event.
- Select Hours Before the Event Start Date to send the invitation later. Enter the number of hours before the event start time to send the invitation.
Invitation method
Under Event and Pre-Registration Invitation Methods, select Email, SMS, or both. If you select both, the event creator can choose either method when sending invitations.
Important:
This setting does not affect quick-invite events. Quick-invite events always send invitations by email.
