You can factory reset your iPad to install the latest iOS updates from Apple or troubleshoot issues that require you to reset your iPad.
Factory reset your iPad
Important:
Before you reset your iPad, make sure you have a new activation code so you can set up your iPad after the factory reset. To get an activation code, contact the FacilityOS support team, or see Obtain a new activation code for your iPad.

Set up your iPad after a factory reset
- After the factory reset is complete, follow the on-screen instructions to set your language and region.
- On the "Quick Start" screen, tap Set Up Without Another Device.
- Follow the on-screen instructions to connect to your Wi-Fi network.
- On the "Remote Management" screen, tap Enroll This iPad.
- On the "Location Services" screen, tap Enable Location Services.
- When iPad setup is complete, open the VisitorOS app.
- On the VisitorOS welcome screen, tap anywhere on the screen.
- Tap Use a code.
- To connect your iPad to your site, enter the activation code.
- If you use a printer via Bluetooth, pair the printer with your iPad. For more information, see Apple’s article Pair a Bluetooth accessory.
