Sign in a visitor

When a new person who is not scheduled for an event arrives at your site, you can sign them in from the VisitorOS dashboard. This allows you to enter the required information on their behalf instead of asking the visitor to sign in themselves.

Required tier Corporate, Enhanced, or Enterprise tier. What is my tier?
Required permission Visitor sign-in/sign-out. This permission is included by default for account administrator and site administrator roles. What is my role?

Sign in a visitor

  1. In the left sidebar of VisitorOS, select Dashboard.
  2. Select Sign-In Visitor.

  3. Select the Site where the visitor is signing in.
  4. Select the Visitor type.
  5. Select the Host the visitor is meeting.
  6. If the host should receive a notification, turn on Notify host.
  7. Under Visitor Information, complete the required fields. The fields displayed depend on your organization’s configuration.
  8. In Notes (internal), enter notes that are only available to you and users who can manage all events.
  9. Select Sign-In.
